There is anticipation in the air, people are drinking their beers, chattering away, popping open their sodas and singing along to QUEEN’s famous song,” We Will Rock You.” 

“Eureka California are you ready?!,” screams the host and the crowd screams,”yes!”

The Eureka Veterans Hall was full of Extreme Dwarfanators wrestling fans on Feb. 9. Eight mini wrestlers fought but only one champion could be named. 

Micro Terror vs. Micro Doggy

Micro Terror and his opponent Micro Doggy who stood 3.5 feet tall, were ready to start the match. Skeptical of how Doggy could beat Terror, people cheered for him anyway. Doggy had been losing, getting thrown around and punched by Terror almost the whole 20-minute match, even beating him with a wet floor sign. 

Doggy redeems himself a couple times by matching his opponent’s momentum and using it against them. With a final burst of energy, he climbs to the top of the corner of the ring, he jumps and body slams Terror winning the fight! 

Guapito VIP vs. Gallito

Mesh shirt, white boots with the acronym “VIP”, Gaupito fought dirty with his match against Gallito. At 3 feet tall Gallito won the audience over with his dancing and imitation of a rooster gawking his head. Guapito and Gallito wrestled back and forth throwing each other around the ring, at one-point Guapito even kissed Ms. Tiffany and then slammed her against Gallito! 

Gaupito makes the mistake of letting his guard down and Gallito finds a way to put him in a headlock winning the match. Gaupito couldn’t stand losing and like a bad sport hit Gallito over the head and unmasked him in front of the whole crowd. The audience booed him off the ring. 

Alex Afaro, an audience member, loved Gallito and was rooting for him the whole time. 

“Gallito, he brought a lot of energy,” Alex Alfaro said. 

Micro Angel vs. Meatball

Micro Angel and Meatball meet in the ring for the third match, they have two different vibes one is a cumbia king and the other a pretty boy. Oh the whole night this seemed to be the fairest fight. 

Meatball slams Angel first, then Angel reverses and flips Meatball making him land on his belly. Angel unlaces Meatball’s wrestling belt and the crowd boos in disagreement. Angel has become the villain of this match. The wrestlers take turns slamming each other down. After Angel jumps from the top of the ring and fully body slams Meatball, the same move is used on him and Meatball is able to make Angel tap out. In his victory, Meatball dances to his cumbia music and some audience members dance with him. 

Alfaro’s girlfriend, Estephani Cardenas, loved this match in particular. 

“Really conflicted between Angel and Meatball because he could dance,” said Estephani Cardenas. 

Championship Micro Man vs. Mini Abismo Negro

Immediately you can see the unfair advantage Mini Abismo Negro has on Mirco Man. Micro Man is the miniest of the wrestlers here tonight while Abismo Negro is the tallest of the fighters. The crowd is questioning this fight, they can all see how big of an advantage Abismo Negro has. 

From the beginning Micro Man is losing most of the fight and it comes to a point where all the wrestlers jump on stage and start fighting each other, it’s every man for himself! Finally, the ring clears, Abismo Negro and Mirco man have it out one last time. Within minutes, Mirco Man finds a way to flip Abismo Negro making him tap out. Micro Man is the new champion of Extreme Dwarfnators. The crowd goes completely wild, standing up and cheering. 

After the show, Ms. Tiffany and Abismo shared that they love being part of Extreme Dwarfanators,” Get to travel and see a lot of the country.” For them it’s as much fun as it is for the audience. 

Abismo Negro shared that Extreme Dwarfanators typically comes to Humboldt twice a year for future wrestling matches but will traveling around the United States the rest of 2025!
